Gewürztraminer from the famous Girlan Cooperative near Bolzano in the Alto-Adige region in Northern Italy is a lovely spicy white wine. It is made from the best grapes grown in the mountain vineyards Girlan and Mazon. The wine is characterized by a fine and intense aroma supported by a harmonious body characteristic of this grape varietal.

The grapes were carefully picked by hand at the peak of ripeness and sorted prior to destemming. After pressing the must was transfered into stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation took place at controlled temperature. The wine aged on the fine lees for 6 months in stainless steel tanks without malolatic fermentation followed by a period in the bottle before release to the market.
