Rina Ianca - Grillo Viognier from the Santa Tresa winery located near the sea outside Vittoria in southern Sicily. It is an innovative organic wine made from a 70%-30% blend of the native Grillo grape and the French Viognier grape giving the basis for a well balanced fresh straw yellow white wine. The vines grow in white mineral rich chalky soil that once was the sea bottom of the Mediterenean Sea. The bouquet has sents of white fruits such as peaches, which gradually develop into notes of apricots and herbs. The taste is lively with a beautiful minerality and fruitiness and with a lovely softness on the finish. It is the perfect partner with all kinds of seafood.
