Vignaverde Grillo from famous Sicilian wine producer Marco De Bartoli based in the old Sicilian wine-town of Marsala in western Sicily. It is a unique white wine made from a careful selection of Grillo grapes from more than 20 years old vines that grow in limestone rich sandy soil in vineyards located near the sea. It is a lovely fresh straw yellow white wine with a bouquet characterized by subtle notes of peach and dried fruit, followed by bold citrus and mineral notes. The taste is typical and fresh, tasty and balanced, yet dominated by acidity, and with a slightly bitter pink grapefruit finish.
