Jemara - Passito di Pantelleria DOP from the recognized wine producer Martinez located in the famous wine town of Marsala on the west coast of Sicily. It is a natural sweet dessert wine, with no added alcohol, born and produced on the volcanic island of Pantelleria located southwest of Sicily. It is obtained from Zibibbo grapes that once sun-dried, are left to macerate in the must for the entire fermentation process. It is a brilliant golden sweet wine with intense aromatic fragrances with notes of dried apricot, honey, figs, and a light hint of sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon. The taste is concentrated showing a lovely harmony between acidity and sweetness. It is silky with a long persistence of delightfully sweet and complex flavors.
