Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC from top producer Speri located in the Valpolicella Classico area to the north of Verona. The grapes for this red wine were produced in the Speri vineyards in the classical area of Valpolicella. It is made from a selection of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. The vineyard is located in a hilly zone with clayey calcareous soil rich in rock fragments at an altitude of 120-350 metres. It is a refined and concentrated intense red wine, very smooth and velvety, with aromas of berries, spices, and cocoa. On the palate, it is warm and soft, very well-balanced due to its rounded tannins. A very versatile wine, ideal with meat dishes and cheese.
