Bukkuram Padre della Vigna 2014 - Passito di Pantelleria D.O.C. - Marco De Bartoli

€66.80
Bukkuram Padre della Vigna - A sweet wine with a perfect balance between structure, acidity and sweetness due to the ancient art of sun-drying. 50% of the grapes are dried in the sunlight, for a minimum of four weeks. The remaining grapes mature on the plant until September. Once the fermentation has started, the grapes previously dried are added to the base wine and left macerating during about three months, until the perfect balance between alcohol content and residual sugar is achieved.

It is in Sicily, in the western part of the island, in Marsala, that Marco de Bartoli strongly believing in the viticulture traditions of his territory, rediscovers and nourishes the deep root between the traditional and innovative methods of working the soil and winemaking. Looking for an excellent quality, combined with the respect for Sicilian wine traditions, Marco chooses native grapes, especially Grillo, cultivated in Sicily since the Phoenician age and main grape of the classic Marsala wine, and Zibibbo, from which is obtained the moscato passito of Pantelleria.
