Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico della Bastonaca organic red wine from sicilian top producer Cos is an elegant Cerasuolo expressing the artistic work this winery performs to produce excellent wines. It is made from a blend 40/60 of Frappato di Vittoria and Nero d’Avola grapes. The vines grow in mineral rich red soil in COS’ vineyards near the sea outside Vittoria in southern Sicily. This is an expressive medium body red wine with a pleasant freshness. The bouquet is intense and layered with fruit and notes of leather, black tea, tobacco. The taste displays silky finesse, elegant tannins, and a perfect balance of fruit, minerality, and freshness. It is the perfect partner with red meat dishes, game and roasts.
