Guancianera Rosso from the Sicilian wine producer Fabio Ferracane based in the old Sicilian wine-town of Marsala in western Sicily. It is a unique red wine made from a careful selection of Nero d’Avola grapes from vines that grow in clayey sandy soil in vineyards located near the sea. It is a lovely fresh and fruity intense ruby red wine with a bouquet with delicate aromas of ripe red fruit, such as berries and cherries, with hints of spice. The taste is fresh, fruity and mineral and overall, it is harmonious. I wine that matches well with risotto and pasta dishes.
