Perricone Vignemie from Francesco Intorcia in Marsala is made from Perricone grapes grown in western Sicily. It is a lovely red wine with a rich flavour. It has notes of red fruits cherries, plums and redcurrant, as well as pleasant herby and earthy aromas. It is intense and balanced, smooth and warm on the palate. The bouquet offers fine sensations, with a surprisingly fresh and persistent aroma.

The Intorcia Winery was founded in 1930 by the Intorcia family, who still runs it to this day. Rediscovery of the Marsala wine terroir has been important for Francesco Intorcia and his family, who are reevaluating the land and telling its story through their wines.
