An excellent aromatic wine from the Cantina Fina located in the highlands near the west coast of Sicilia. The Kikè is mainly produced from Gewürztraminer (Traminer Aromatico) a variety of aromatic grape planted in Sicily only recently. It benefits from the varying climate near the sea giving the wine its characteristic aromatic taste. A case with 6 bottles on offer.

The Cantine Fina follows a tradition of winemaking that started thousands of years ago when the Greek and Phoenician settlements on the Sicilian west coast started the cultivation of grapes. The winery is located on a ridge on the west coast near the Mediterrenean Sea. The vineyards are in good part made of autochthonous vines like Grillo and Nero d’Avola, but recently the Gewürztraminer (Traminer Aromatico) was introduced in this area. The vineyards benefit from the temperature variations near the sea with cool breezes supporting the acidity of the wines.

Colour: Straw yellow tending to the golden.

Bouquet: The nose is an exiting tumult of aromas, where apple, pear, exotic fruits, viols, roses, citrus fruits and honey are felt.
Taste: On the palate it has a fine minerality, sapidity with a correct mix of acidity that supports the characteristic aromaticity of the base; A wine of excellent harmony and intense persistence.
Pairs with: This wine matches perfectly with hors d'oeuvres and snacks prepared with cheeses and vegetables. It will be ideal for accompanying fish dishes-grilled and fried, risotto- or pastadishes. Can be enjoyed as an aperitif. Serve at 12-15 C.
