The story of Distilleria Castagner began in 1996 when Master Distiller Roberto Castagner decided to follow a dream, founding the distillery that bears his name. His mission was clear: to bring innovation to the world of grappa and make the distillate a symbol of modern and prestigious Made in Italy on a par with other international spirits. Passion, intuition and great dedication have been the determining elements of a path that in just a few years has led the Castagner Distillery to be one of the most important and recognized companies in the sector.

The innovative production method is the secret behind the Castagner style. Every step, from the treatment of the grape skins to their distillation, up to the aging of the grappa, has been designed to create high quality spirits with a smooth, modern and international profile. To excite the consumer, the high quality of the content is not enough. Excellence is achieved with continuous research, attention to detail and the ambition to always do better.

Fuoriclasse Leon Amarone della Valpolicella is a Grappa Riserva with which Castagner pays homage to his region. If Grappa is in fact one of the symbols of drinking in Veneto, the same can be said of Amarone, the red wine that embodies the pinnacle of quality of the entire regional viticulture. The idea of the distillery was therefore to combine the two excellences into one product with a winning profile, which conquers the nose and palate with expressive and incisive aromas and flavours.

The unique bottle with the relief on glass of the Lion (Leone) is a symbol of Venetian identity, the region where the distillery is located – a region with a great and strong history.
