The vines for the Sanct Valentin Gewurztraminer white wine have an age of 5 to 35 years and grow in the cooperatives limestone gravel vineyards in Kurtatsch, Kaltern and Eppan at altitudes between 300 and 500m.
The grapes were manually harvested, sorted, and destemmed followed by the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Also the ageing took place in stainless steel tanks.
