This is a fine ruby red Nebbiolo d'Alba wine from this biodynamic wine producer for whom the wines are the result of the pursuit of balance and respect for the environment. It has sweet spices in the bouquet and soft and enveloping tannins - a beautiful San Ponzio, ethereal and deep.

The Nebbiolo vines for this red wine grow in Gagliardo’s San Ponzio vineyard in the Monticello d'Alba zone of Roero in Piedmonte. The vineyards are cultivated according to the principles for organic farming.
The grapes were manually harvested, carefully sorted, and destemmed, followed by 8 days of maceration and fermentation. After racking the wine was aged in one single oak cask of 35 hl for 18 months, followed by some time in the bottle.
Longevity 3-5 years.
