San Leonardo is the magical result of a tradition that is called "Bordeaux cutting" throughout the world. It is symbiotic of dream and tradition, to enjoy a wine that can convey the character and fascination of the identity of the territory. It is made from 20-50 years old Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Merlot vines. Each parcel was handpicked, sorted and vinified separately. The early months of maturation took place in cement tanks followed by 18-24 months in barrique before refining in the bottles for at least 1 year, prior to marketing. This created a powerful and elegant red wine with a very long storage potential.
Colour: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
Bouquet: The aromatic notes are expressed by the balsamic sensations of small berries, chocolate, tobacco, pepper, and elegant pepper nuances.
Taste: Full-body, warm, of great roundness and with a very long intense aromatic persistence.
