Made from Primitivo grapesfrom organically grown vines this wine reflects the characters and terroir of Puglia. The bouquet is rich in ripe fruit, cherries and plums, with a hint of coffee and black pepper; robust, soft and harmonious taste, with a pleasantly persistent finish. A beautiful young wine.

San Marzano is a small village in the centre of the Primitivo di Manduria DOC region in the Italian province of Puglia. It is a strip of land kissed by the two seas of the Salento: the Ionian and the Adriatic. In 1962 the DOC appellation did not yet exist, and the Primitivo di Manduria was far from becoming a cult wine for wine lovers. Even so, 19 winemakers came together to follow a dream and founded Cantine San Marzano. Every drop of this red wine from their land celebrates their hope, their daring and their intuition.
