Mille e una Notte from Donnafugata a red wine icon of Italian excellence in the world of wine. It is produced mainly from Nero d’Avola grapes grown at an altitude of 200-400 m. near the sea in southwestern Sicily. It presents an ample bouquet with fruity aromas of black berries, delicate balsamic scents and pleasant notes of cocoa and vanilla. The taste is soft and embracing with silky tannins.

Mille e una Notte comes out of the dream of Giacomo and Gabriella, the founders of Donnafugata, to produce a great Sicilian red wine. Today it is an icon of Italian oenological excellence, the result of a tailoring that is the basis of Donnafugata's production philosophy. It is a wine with great potential, long and enveloping, of rare complexity, which matures in barriques for at least thirteen months.
