The Chianti from the recognized Rocca di Castagnoli winery near Siena in Tuscany is a lovely ruby red wine made from Sangiovese mixed with Ciliegiolo grapes grown in the Sienese hills at an altitude of 300 m. It is an intriguing Chianti with an intense bouquet of red berries and winy aromas. The taste is soft with lively, sweet tannins. A very pleasant wine with a balanced woody note.
