Marcenasco 2011- Barolo D.O.C.G. - Renato Ratti
The Marcenasco vineyard is situated in La Morra in Piemonte. The grape varieties, microclimates and soils varies, but all are cultivated with the same great love for the vine and respect for the environment.
The Nebbiolo grapes were destemmed and crushed followed by temperature controlled fermentation. Maceration time 7-10 days followed by malolactic fermentation in November in oak barrels. Ageing two years in oak barrels and 12 months in the bottles.
Color: Garnet red.
Bouquet: Aromas of licorice and tobacco.
Taste: Full of flavors, full-bodied and elegant.
