The grapes for this Barolo were handpicked in the Barolo e Serralunga d'Alba vineyards. Followed by fermentation using indigenous yeasts in steel tanks for 14-15 days and maceration on the skins for 10-15 days. After the subsequent malolactic fermentation the wine was transferred to French oak tonneaux for 12 months and then 12 months in large oak barrels. After bottling the wine was refined for another 12 month in the bottle.
Colour: Garnet red with wide and deep orange reflections.
Bouquet: The nose is characteristic of the variety, ethereal, pleasing, intense.
Taste: The palate is dry, full, robust, austere but velvety, harmonious.
Longevity 15-20 years.
